Building a future for Indigenous veterinarians
The American Veterinary Medical Association cites that less than 0.2% of veterinarians identify as Indigenous, despite comprising over 2.5% of the US population. We support Indigenous students as they work to bridge this gap.
Indigenous care for our Indigenous communities
Some of our most impactful programs include offering veterinary care to our communities, especially Indigenous reservations with little to no access. Our dream is to see Indigenous veterinarians, techs, and support staff managing veterinary practices across Indigenous communities.
